Hello from your Canteen Staff,

 

As always there is a lot going on at your Canteen. Last month’s Monte Carlo Night again was a huge success. Thank you to everyone who volunteered their time and came out to support the event. Also this month we were able to purchase a new TV for the canteen thanks to donations made by the SAL and Women’s Auxiliary.   Special thanks to the SAL, the Oyster Night crew, Pattie for her Jell-o shooters and everyone who participated in our weekend 50/50 raffles ran by Mackenzie.  Because of you we will be able to purchase another pool table for the back room and begin a pool league. If you are interested in participating in the pool league please sign up on the board. We are also in the process of planning our 3^rd annual Trolley Crawl  watch the board for details.

 

 Our Wii bowling tournament continues to be a huge success.  Meet new members and have a ton of fun!   The maximum for tournaments is 32, so get here early.  Registration starts at 6 PM, tournament begins at 7 PM. Our Family Feud nights have also become a night you won’t want to miss. Put a team together for of 4 or 5 people and come join us and you’ll see what we are talking about. Check the Calendar for dates for all of the events. Also on May 15^th Tom Carlile and friends will be putting on an American Way show in the back hall. Come and check out what they have put together.

 

If you know anyone who would like to rent space to hold an event now is the time to book! We are currently running a reduced rate special if you book your 2010 event by May 15th. If you know someone who is interested please have them contact Brandi. The dates for 2010 are booking up fast so book early to ensure you get the date you desire. Also all members if you are planning on holding an event in the back hall this year for your organization please be sure to let Brandi know as soon as possible or your date may not be available. 

 

And as always we would like to thank all the members that help out around the canteen there are too many of you to name but we hope that you know how thankful we are for your help. This canteen could not run without you!
